Cute magpie pictures

Yesterday some of my friends saw little Magpie and took pictures of it. It seems that the bird fell from it's nest. They told me that the bird couldn't fly..I hope that It will survive ,but there are many homeless animals here like dogs and cats. Here are the pictures:

Anas platyrhynchos nest with eggs

Last week my grandfather founded Mallard nest with 12 eggs in it. We managed to take pictures ot it ,but didn't want to disturb the bird so we just took 2 pictures of the nest and walk away from the nest. The nest itself was made near a bush and was very well hidden. Other interesting thing is that it was about 20m away from the water. Here are the pictures :)

Last week I was in Belogradchik and I've managed to find some nests. Most of them were Blackbird and Song thrush , but I also found Hawfinch nest with 3 eggs inside. Here are the pictures I hope that they are interesting and maybe useful.

Magpie pictures

A friend of mine sent me some pictures of Magpie . The pictures are made in Sofia. The population of magpies here is very large.So enjoy them :)

Saturday walk

Yesterday I went to Veshtica and set up my mist nets. But there was very strong wind this morning and I've decided that there is no point of trying to ring something. I gathered the nets and took a little walk.

More partridges

Yesterday the partridges were near UNWE again. This time we managed to make closer pictures of them until they run away . The birds were 11. Here are the pictures  of the partridges and one Blackbird.
